OTA Equipment Firmware Updates

When using Alarm.com services your dealer is able to push updates to your equipment via Alarm.com. This allows your dealer to keep your panel up to date with the click of a button, however these updates are not automatic. The equipment that can be updated is entirely dependent on what alarm system you are using with Alarm.com because some integrate with Alarm.com better than others.

Certain systems, like the Qolsys IQ panels and the DSC NEO system can allow you to upgrade the communciator, the main board, keypads and more. However, most systems especially older systems only allow the communciator to be updated. Either way you look at it, this will keep your system as up to date as it can be to provide you the best security features at all times.
