Can you program with the Honeywell 6150 keypad?
Technically, you can program with the 6150 keypads although we don’t recommend it at all. It is far too complicated for a beginner to try and program a Honeywell Vista system with a 6150 keypad.
The 6150 keypads have a numeric readout and will not show all things in the Vista system’s programming sections. You will be programming ‘blind’. 6150 keypads are great for secondary add-on keypads if all you need is a keypad in a location to arm and disarm the system with. If you want a keypad for programming the system then we would suggest getting any of the 6160 models or choose between the Tuxedo or 6280 touchscreen keypads.
