Choose a mounting location. Measure carefully to ensure that the magnet and transmitter will line up properly when the door is closed. Mark the position.
Using an 11/16” drill bit, drill the holes for the magnet and transmitter.
The device is designed to fit snugly into the hole and it may need to be carefully widened a little bit to be large enough.
Insert the magnet and transmitter with flush mount cap. If it is too loose, you can switch to the flanged cap and screw that in so that the device is secure.
