Central Station Monitoring Certificate

A Central Station monitoring certificate is a legal document that summarizes the types of alarm signals a particular panel is monitored for. These certificates are generally provided to an insurance company to verify you have coverage. In some cases the insurance company will provide a discount on the provided insurance. 

There are multiple types of alarms that any given panel can be monitored for such as: burglary, fire, panic/holdup, medical, and low temp. Once your Central Station service is active, you can perform certain tests for each type of function. Once the signals are verified, you will be provided with a certificate that shows what your specific system is covered for.
