6-Hour Supervision

Alarm.com communicators while activated will send supervision signals to Alarm.com to ensure that the communicator can still communicate properly. If this supervision check fails, you will be notified through your notification preferences as well as on the alarm system keypads. There are 3 options for supervision check-ins which are 24 hours, 6 hours, and 1 hour. 

24 hours is the standard supervision, 6 hour supervision comes included on the Alarm.com Gold and Interactive Commercial plan, and 1-hour supervision only comes with the Interactive Commercial Plus plan. If you wish to have a lower supervision window than your existing plan comes with, you can add lower supervision as a standalone add-on.
