A great start to a fresh install, this IQ Panel 4 PowerG kit comes with the new IQ 4 as well as 3 PowerG sensors. Unlike the other IQ 4 systems we carry, this model comes with only 1 wireless card (PowerG) to save on cost for new installs. This means you still get access to the best wireless devices on the market coupled with a sleek self-contained wireless alarm system for a reasonable price. The 3 PowerG sensors that come with the kit are 2 PG9303 slimline door/window contacts and 1 PG9914 PIR motion detector. As always the IQ Panel 4 comes equipped with a built-in Alarm.com cellular and IP communicator as well as a Z-wave card for smart home devices. The IQ 4 is powered by a Qual-comm Snapdragon processor and has 4 quad-sound speakers capable of 85 decibels when in alarm. On top of all these great features, the IQ Panel 4 still remains the easiest system we have to install and program requiring no prior knowledge to become an expert in no time. The main downside to this model of the IQ 4 is that you will not be able to use Qolsys S-line wireless devices such as the 16-F hardwired translator, but there are PowerG sensors and modules like the PG9WLSHW8 that can make up for this issue. 

As with all IQ Panel 4's this system can handle up to 128 security zones allowing you to cover almost any size building, residential or commercial. The wireless range for these zones is up to a 1/4 mile open-air, and if that is not enough, supports PowerG signal repeaters as well. 242 user codes can be programmed into the IQ Panel 4 so you can set up user codes for an entire staff or extremely large families if need be. If you happen to have a need to separate the security zones, there are 4 partitions available to the IQ 4 along with both wireless PowerG keypads, and the IQ remote touchscreen keypad so you can customize your system appropriately. Along with security zones, the IQ 4 is capable of holding up to 137 total Z-wave devices. The device amounts are separated by type: 80 lights, 20 Locks, 10 Thermostats, 21 Misc, 6 Garage Doors. This allows usage of smart home devices straight from the IQ panel or IQ remote keypads.

If that wasn't enough, the built-in Alarm.com communicator allows you to utilize Alarm.com's residential or commercial services. These services range from simple signal forwarding to a central monitoring station or interactive and automation services if desired. Being an integrated communicator, using these services also gives us the ability to assist you with potential issues more effectively when using us as your service provider. The IQ Panel 4 even allows you to view cameras and image sensors straight from the screen if you have Alarm.com video service as well. This works especially well with video doorbells for example, allowing you to see who is at your door and communicate with them straight through the system using its 2-way audio. When the IQ Panel 4 is linked with Alarm.com for self-monitoring, automation, and video, it becomes everything you could need out of an alarm system.
