HONEYWELL LTE-L57A AT&T LTE COMMUNICATOR FOR LYNX L5210 / L7000

 What you get:

1 - Honeywell LTE-L57A Communicator
1 - Connector board
3 - Mounting screws

The Honeywell LTE-L57A cellular communicator is an add-on communications module that you can use for central station monitoring or Honeywell's Total Connect monitoring. This can be used if you have no phone line available or are using the L7000 which has no phone line dialer built-in.

The LTE-L57A measures 4.75" x 2.5" and the unit installs inside of the Lynx L5210 or Lynx L7000 wireless alarm panels using the included bridge connector board and the 3 mounting screws. The LTE-L57A is powered by 5V which is provided by the Lynx panel itself. The power draw for the unit is a meager 30 mA for standby and 490 mA during maximum transmitting power. The internal antenna in the L57A can operate on the LTE bands 12, 13, 5, 4, and 2.

The LTE-L57A will report alarm signals in full Contact ID format. The unit also has OTA (Over the air) firmware upgrade capability which means that it can be updated to newer versions when needed. This is also capable of handling 2-way voice support with the central station so that if you have this feature in your monitoring package you can communicate directly with the central station through the alarm system itself if needed.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Hello, do you have to pay for a cell service subscription if the HONEYWELL LTE-L57A AT&T LTE COMMUNICATOR FOR LYNX L5210 / L7000 is installed? Can it be programmed to call a cell phone and or text or email if an alarm was to happen? Thank you.

Yes, if you are using a cellular communicator of any kind it will require a cellular service fee. For the Lynx systems that is Total Connect service. Total Connect does offer an interactive option where you can use an app with your system and get notifications, however Total Connect requires a monitoring service subscription as well. If you are only interested in the ability to receive personal notifications, it might be better to look at a new panel that can reuse your sensors like the IQ Panel 4 + 345MHz. It uses Alarm.com service which offers a self-monitoring only service which saves a good bit of money in the long run.
