Honeywell 6160RF Custom Alpha Security Keypad

Ademco 6160 Easy to Read Alpha Display Keypad has a 32 character display with easy to read text that is spelled out in plain english. It features four oversized funtions keys which are accessible while the keypad door is closed.

The four function keys on the left side of the keypad can be used for panic keys so that you may press these in case of an emergency such as a break in, fire or medical situation. The function keys are large, easily seen and accessible even when the front cover is closed. This keypad also features a built-in wireless receiver that will let you use any of Honeywell's 5800 series wireless devices such as window/door contacts, motion sensors, glass breaks, etc.

The usual wireless range for Honeywell wireless devices is a 200' radius out from the receiver. The receiver in the 6160RF works on the same premise as the 5881ENH wireless receiver in that it will allow you to use as many wireless zones as your Vista panel can utilize. This would be 26 wireless zones on a Vista 15P and 40 zones on a Vista 20P.

    Yes, it is wired in exactly the same. You may need to address the new keypad however to make it function.

    There are no batteries in this keypad. It is a wired keypad.
