ELK 110 Voice Siren Driver

The ELK 110 Voice Siren Driver features pre-recorded voice announcements for burglary, fire, and carbon monoxide emergency situations. Not only will it speak a message, but will also alternate between spoken message and siren tone. The voice can speak in English or Spanish. The driver has three channels for burglary, fire, and carbon monoxide. 

The ELK 110 also has the VolumeStep™ option which causes the siren sound to start at low volume, gradually increasing over 90 seconds to maximum volume.

  • How do I wire this to a DSC Neo HS 2032 board? How does it diferentiate between Burgulary, fire , or CO alarm? I already have the COSMOD4W interface, and Combo smoke/CO detectors. What additional programming is necessary?

    To cover all wiring would take to long in a product question like this, but the manual does provide a diagram for wiring the ELK to a NEO. The wiring for the burg and fire alarms are fairly simple, but the CO annunciation is tricky because the NEO is a negative switching system. It requires the use of a relay attached to a PGM for a CO trigger. The ELK110 also only works with speakers, not sirens that include an onboard driver.
