DSC Qolsys IQ Pro IQPR017M Power G Panel In Metal Cabinet

The metal cabinet variant of the IQ Pro provides a larger workspace for installation, and 6 total designated slots for zone expansion modules compared to its plastic counterpart. The metal cabinet itself is 15in tall, 12in wide, and 5in deep giving you much more room for wire management and additional modules if required. Located on the top of the cabinet is a plastic fin where the wireless antennas are located allowing the IQ Pro to connect to wireless sensors and cell towers without the metal of the cabinet interfering with the signal. As with all IQ Pros, you'll get the best of both hardwired and wireless alarm systems combined into one package. Utilizing the encryption and security of DSCs hardwired capabilities along with the simple and elegant user interface of the Qolsys IQ systems, the IQ Pro will help you secure your home or business with little effort. The IQPRO17M is a PowerG wireless-only IQ Pro system, allowing you to integrate both hardwired components and PowerG wireless components. Integrated into the base system is also an Alarm.com dual-path communicator giving you 3 possible methods of communication: cellular, ethernet, and wifi. Pairing the IQ Pro with Alarm.com will improve the daily usage of the IQ Pro and if you're using Alarm.com's automation service you can also integrate smart devices into your setup with the built-in Z-wave card.

All IQ Pro systems provide you with up to 128 zones allowing builds of all sizes for any type of building layout. The hardwired main board offers 8 zones out of the box and can be expanded using HSM2108 zone expanders. As mentioned, the IQPRO17M provides space for 6 zone expander modules to be located inside the main cabinet with room to spare for a large backup battery. The IQ Pro is capable of using both DSC and Qolsys keypads, giving you the option to customize your onsite user experience depending on which interface you prefer. The HS2 style keypads from DSC will provide a more classic hardwired system experience while using the IQ Remote from Qolsys offers a modern tablet-style feel to the user interface. In addition, the main board of the IQ Pro offers 4 programmable outputs, or PGMs, able to power external devices or trigger relays to wired "automation" based on system events. The amount of PGMs the system offers can be expanded using HSM2204 or HSM2208 PGM expanders. Additional power can be added using the HSM2300, or if you need power and PGMs, the HSM2204 includes 4 high-current PGMs when added. For the wireless side of things, the IQPRO17M as mentioned offers the PowerG wireless card capable of including wireless sensors, fobs and sirens. You can enroll up to 128 wireless sensors provided you are not using any zones for hardwired sensors, as well as 32 keyfobs and 120 panic fobs if needed. Wireless sirens such as the PG9901 and PG9911 can be used for remote siren locations where wiring a standard siren may be too difficult. For standard wired siren operation, however, the Bell circuit on the IQ Pro provides 700mA of continuous current, and up to 2A while the system is in alarm, allowing multiple wired sirens to be connected without issue.

The IQ Pro is programmed using the IQ Interface app which streamlines the programming experience allowing installers and DIYers a simple-to-use interface to quickly set up the system. In addition if you would like an interactive app to control the system remotely, the built-in Alarm.com communicator allows you to utilize their interactive features. The cellular card within the IQ Pro can have either an ATT or Verizon SIM card, so ensure you select whichever option provides you the best cellular signal in your area. If you have legacy wireless sensors you would like to integrate into the IQ Pro, the system can include multiple other wireless cards such as the 319MHz card for Interlogix sensors or Qolsys S-line sensors, the 345MHz card for Honeywell 5800 and 2GIG sensors, as well as the 433MHz wireless card for legacy DSC sensors. These models do come with an additional cost depending on what card you need and what cabinet you would prefer, so reach out to us for pricing and availability.
