DSC PG9936H PowerG Wireless Heat Detector

The PG9936H is a heat-only wireless sensor that works with the DSC PowerSeries NEO systems, and the Qolsys IQ Panels. The PG9936H has both a fixed temperature and rate of rise sensor inside. The fixed temperature sensor has a 135-degree limit and will send an alarm signal to the panel when reached. Once the temperature has dropped below the limit it automatically restores itself. The rate of rise sensor will trigger if it detects a rapid increase in temperature. The PG9936H also includes test procedures for itself and alarm signals so it can be tested in the system. It may be mounted on either walls or ceilings in locations where fire protection is desired, but would not be suitable for sensitive smoke detectors.

The PG9936H uses PowerG wireless technology meaning it benefits from features like high-level encryption, frequency hopping, battery usage management, and more. LEDs on the device are able to provide multiple status conditions such as troubles and alarm conditions. The PG9936H is powered using 3 AAA batteries which are projected to last 3 years in the unit before needing replaced. The detector will provide trouble signals to the panel such as tamper conditions and low batteries. The PG9936H also includes a built-in 85db sounder to provide an annunciation when the sensor is triggered.
