Alarm.com's top-tier Residential Video Service gives you full access to all of the available features that come with Alarm.com's video cameras. While providing up to 4 camera slots with the base plan only, you'll get not only Alarm.com's video analytics, manual, and event-triggered clip recordings, but it also allows all eligible cameras on the account to utilize the Onboard Recording feature. Onboard Recording with Alarm.com cameras gives you the ability to insert a Surveillance-Grade SD card into compatible cameras so that they can record 24/7. Footage recorded to the SD card will be encrypted and may only be viewed while the SD card is placed in the camera. By using the Premium Video plan, all cameras, even those added by the 4-camera Expansion Add-on, will be able to use the Onboard Recording feature. The only exception to this rule is Alarm.com's Video Doorbells, which are not compatible with continuous recording. To properly utilize the Onboard Recording feature, you will need surveillance-grade SD cards with the proper amount of space to support the length of recording you wish to capture. All recorded video is accessible via the Alarm.com app or web portal. 

The number of camera slots can be increased by adding the 4-Camera Expansion Add-on to your service plan. Any additional cameras added via the 4-camera Expansion Add-on will incorporate all of the above features.
