Alarm.com ADC-CC100 Car Connector

The ADC-CC100 is Alarm.com's newest Car Connector and is a direct replacement for the ADC-3035L-AT Car Connector. While the ADC-3035L units will still be supported by Alarm.com, the newer CC100 provides a few extra features that better integrate the units with Alarm.com's other features. In addition, Alarm.com has dropped a new service package related to Car Connectors called Connected Fleet, which pairs well with the CC100's release. By utilizing either the Connected Car, or Connected Fleet service, the Alarm.com CC100 can provide safety, maintenance support, and supervision to vehicles for either residential or commercial applications, respectively.

One of the most prominent new features of the ADC-CC100 is the ability to trigger video recording rules in the event that unexpected vehicle movement is detected along with other automated features based on location. This can be very handy, especially for businesses with a fleet of vehicles stationed in a parking lot. When Alarm.com cameras are used in conjunction with the Car Connectors, you'll always know if a vehicle has been moved when it shouldn't have. In addition, all of the standard features are still present including accurate GPS location, fuel level readings, diagnostic code readings, and accelerometer readings. The GPS tracking is accurate within 2 meters or closer when in ideal conditions providing trip information via the in-app map. Fuel-level readings are sent to the app as well, while also providing the option to set a low fuel threshold which will send a notification. Diagnostic code readings when the check engine light comes on will provide you with some information regarding the code so that you can quickly and accurately get the problem fixed. Along with the accelerometer tracking vehicle driving habits, the CC100 provides all you will need to properly monitor a vehicle.

Alarm.com Car Connectors requires the use of either the Alarm.com Connected Car service or Connected Fleet Service.

Car Connectors must be connected via an OBDII port, which is only available on vehicles manufactured after 1996. Fuel level readings may not be available for vehicles older than 2008.
